We feel that the club should operate a ‘home from home‘ play experience for the children attending the club. We are not an educational setting but a fun, relaxing and safe place with time to play with friends, draw, paint or just sit in a quiet corner and read if that is what they want to do. We like to keep parent's well informed of all our news and encourage parent's to air their views, make suggestions and feel able to raise any concerns or worries they may have about their children's needs. We are open to all and have full disabled access to the room and the building. We offer a wide range of activities covering all needs and welcome all to the club in a warm and friendly manner. The club is run by Linda Kelsey who is owner/manager and she ensures that everyone is greeted personally, every day, all week with a smile and warm welcome.
As an OFSTED registered provision, all our staff have Disclosure and Barring (Previously CRB) clearance and suitable training. We ensure that the current childcare ratios are adhered to and that children are provided with enough space and resources to enable them to have a fun, safe time with us. Children's emotional, physical, social and intellectual needs are met through our care and learning through play activities. We promote good health by providing healthy snacks and making sure that children are aware of hygiene needs. Children are encouraged to behave in a positive way towards each other and the adults in their lives. A full version of our policies is available for parents to read.
